for those of you who missed it, brett read extracts from
the following songs . . .
killing of a flash boy
trash
introducing the band
refugees
beautiful ones
heroine
daddy's speeding
simon
the new songs especially, sounded very good as poems, maybe
because they're not so familiar. he then got out an acoustic
guitar, much to everyone's delight, and sang two beautiful
songs . . . indian strings, which has never sounded so good,
and oceans which is breathtaking. he came back on for an
encore of the living dead. so now you know.
