演出時間跟之前查的不一樣 http://www.harbourfrontcentre.com/worldroutes/festivals.cfm?festival_id=67 Suming August 28, 2010 2:00PM SIRIUS STAGE Suming is from the Amis tribe of Taiwan. Inspired by rich indigenous culture, he is the front man and song writer for three bands, including the popular group Totem. This multi-talented singer also acts, dances and paints. His lyrics and songs tell the stories from his life experiences. 1976 August 28, 2010 3:15PM SIRIUS STAGE Named after the year they were born, 1976 was established in the summer of 1996 and are hailed as one of the leading indie bands in Taiwan. The band blends elements of psychedelic-folk, Brit-pop, electronic-rock, glam rock and modern rock into an electrifying live show. How electrifying? Last spring, 1976 was invited as the opening guest for the Oasis Live Forever Tour in Taipei – the first Taiwanese band ever to perform as opening guest for an international rock band. Double X August 28, 2010 5:00PM Redpath Stage Double X is a pioneer of the Taiwanese indie music scene, whose album, Put Myself Out, was banned by the Taiwanese Government Information Office for explicit lyrics. The band made headlines as the first artist to write songs about sex in a censorship-prone Taiwan. Now, in an ironic twist of Taiwanese rock history, he's been singled out by Taiwan’s Government Information Office as one of a dozen indie artists with significant international appeal. Recently Double X has drifted away from music with shock value, and is instead pursuing a direction into deeper, atmospheric sounds. Aphasia August 28, 2010 7:00PM Redpath Stage Touching on a variety of genres, from post-rock, punk to metal, Aphasia's music speaks volumes, as heard on their album Aphasic Crocodile Society. The band’s music reflects the beautifully wrapped facade of Taiwanese society which is superficial and tense beneath the surface. Aphasia proves that being silent does not necessarily mean being quiet! Go Chic August 28, 2010 8:00PM SIRIUS STAGE Go Chic started out as an all-girl band in Taipei around 2007. The band made an immediate impact with their raw, catchy, dance-electro songs. Since then, Go Chic has lost a couple of members and gained a male drummer. They describe their music as “electro-hippy-chicks, hybridized punk-blues-rock” and along the same lines as renowned artists like Peaches, CSS and Le Tigre. Go Chic have played with such notable acts as Vicarious Bliss, Dandi Wind, Shitdisco, Death Is Not My Aim, among others, and are currently active in the Taiwan indie scene. Matzka August 28, 2010 9:00PM SIRIUS STAGE Matzka is composed of aboriginal singers from the east coast of Taiwan. The band is one of the few to illustrate traditional songs through a combination of reggae vibes and unique vocal harmonies. Full of humour and energy, Matzka's live show is a must-see event. Kou Chou Ching August 28, 2010 10:00PM Redpath Stage Known as “Taiwan’s Ambassadors of Rap,” Kou Chou Ching expresses the creativity and vitality of Taiwan’s independent music with explosive lyrics and energetic live performances. Unlike most pop music where the subject matter is often limited, Kou Chou Ching has been pushing its limit, including specific social issues in its lyrics. Tracks such as “Diss-Organized Criminals” express critical opinions on scammers while “Grey Coastlines” puts the damaged and polluted coastline in perspective. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.166.115.153 ※ 編輯: NANX 來自: 218.166.115.153 (08/09 15:47)
