Coldplay felt the need to scrap everything they recorded for their new album X&Y and start over after seeing that Oasis did the same. Chris Martin feared he would have put out an inferior album to the one the is out in shops now had it not been for Oasis' Definitely Maybe DVD. He said: "I was at home watching this DVD that came out last year)...and watching how they started off very technological and trying to do everything perfect, with great studios and ended up just being the five of them in a room , bashing out the songs. "I suddenly realised that's really what we haven't been doing, so we went back to a tiny rehearsal space and we started the album all over again. "So a large part of that is thanks to the Definitely Maybe DVD." Article published: Tue, 07 June 2005 22:03:12PM -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.34.243.149
