05. THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING IDLE 閒閒沒事的重要性 I sold my soul for the second time 我又第二次出賣了靈魂 Cos the man don't pay me 因為那個人不肯贖我 I begged my landlord for some more time 我懇求房東再給我一些時間 He said "Son, the bills are waiting" 他說「孩子--帳單不等人哦！」 My best friend called me the other night 我好朋友前幾天打給我 He say "Man--you crazy?" 他說「老兄--你瘋啦？」 My girlfriend told me to get a life 我女朋友叫我要過正常的生活 She say "Boy--you lazy” 她說「天啊--你超懶惰的」 But I don't mind 但是其實我不介意 As long as there's a bed beneath the stars that shine 只要還有星光下會發亮的床 I'll be fine, if you give me a minute 我就過的去，如果你給我多點時間 A man's got a limit 一個人總有極限 I can't get a life if my heart's not in it 如果心不在上面根本沒有生活可言 I've lost my faith in the summertime 我在夏日失去了信心 Cos it don't stop raining 因為雨總是下個不停 The sky all day is as black as night 天空成天暗得跟夜晚似的 But I'm not complaining 但我也不是在抱怨啦 I begged my doctor for one more line 我求我的醫生再給我一句忠告 He say "Son--words fail me" 他說「孩子啊--言語無能，多說無益」 It ain't your place to be killing time 這並不是殺時間的好地方 I guess I'm just lazy 我想我只是懶惰罷了 But I don't mind 但是其實我不介意 As long as there's a bed beneath the stars that shine 只要還有星光下會發亮的床 I'll be fine, if you give me a minute 我就過的去，如果你給我多點時間 A man's got a limit 一個人總有極限 I can't get a life if my heart's not in it 如果心不在上面根本沒有生活可言 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cheers!
