OASIS will continue making music until one of the band dies, according to songwriter NOEL GALLAGHER. Critics claim the band's recent releases have failed to live up to their debut album DEFINITELY MAYBE - most notably their new LP DON'T BELIEVE THE TRUTH. But Gallagher maintains only death will stop them performing. He says, "I would have thought (we'll stay together) until someone dies. But like I say, I don't particularly want to be putting out albums every year and going out on the road, because I don't need the money. I don't need the adulation or the fame. "But we'll be going for a long time, I would have thought."
