嗯，這是一首歌名，出自迪倫 1965 年發行的專輯 Highway 61 Revisited 。這首歌要怎麼描述呢？我這樣講吧：Desolation Row 由十個章節結合而成，歌詞中大量引入聖經、史詩、小說的典故，例如： All except for Cain and Abel 除了該隱和亞伯 And the hunchback of Notre Dame 還有聖母院的駝背人 Everybody is making love 每個人都在做愛 Or else expecting rain 或者期待一場雨 Praise be to Nero's Neptune 榮耀歸於尼祿的海神 The Titanic sails at dawn 鐵達尼號在清晨啟航 And everybody's shouting 每個人都在吼著問ꄊ "Which Side Are You On?" 「你站在哪一邊？」 And Ezra Pound and T. S.
