The Last Waltz 是 The Band 的告別演唱會，至於為什麼 Dylan 會在這個演唱會出現？因為 The Band, 以及他們的前身 The Hawks，在 1964~1966 這段期間是 Dylan 的 band（bootleg series 4, Royal Albert Hall 裡面的 band 就是他們）。 Dylan 摔車以後，隱居到一間叫「大粉紅」（big pink）的鄉間小屋，一起錄了一堆有的沒的東西，其中一部份的錄音變成後來公開發行的 Basement Tapes，另外一部份的東西變成 The Band 自己發的專輯， Music From Big Pink。完整的錄音原本是推 Genuine Basement Tapes 這一套五張的靴腿（http://www.bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-g01.html）， 2001年新出了一套重新混音過，音質更好的版本，A Tree With Roots， http://www.bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-t13.html，要蒐集的話請務必把這套帶回家。 1974年 Dylan 重新開始巡迴演唱（如果零星的露面不算的話，前一次的巡迴就是 66 年了），Sony 發的那張 Before The Flood就是這段巡迴的選集；後來 The Band 宣布解散，雙方是老交情了，在 The Band 的告別演唱 Dylan當然得來捧個場囉。 :P The Last Waltz 唱了很～～久，官方發行的版本沒有把整場演唱會都丟出來，所以如果要聽完整版，請洽「The Complete Last Waltz」， http://www.bobsboots.com/cds/cd-c20.html，音質當然沒有官方版來的好，但是考慮到歷史地位，還是很值得收的一套靴腿。 -- he examines the nightingale's code still written on the fish truck that loads my conscience explodes the harmonicas play the skeleton keys in the rain and these visions of Johanna are all that remain... -- Seems Like a Freeze-Out / Dylan -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.105.254.142 ※ 編輯: JeffyLiaw 來自: 59.105.254.142 (03/01 23:50)
