這首歌的全名是 Blind Willie McTell，非常地「顧名思義」，講的是一位眼盲的藍調歌手 Willie McTell 的故事，或者更精確的說，是回頭追溯藍調源頭的一種 tribute。這位老兄的小傳可以參考如下網頁： http://www.acousticguitar.com/issues/ag118/feature118.html 另外是一些 trivia。我翻了一下 Clinton Heylin 在「The Recording Sessions [1960-1994 ]」這本書裡面的說法，是在 Infidels 時期錄的，確切的時間地點是 1983/5/5, Power Station, NY；當時錄了兩個 take，第一個 take 後來被丟進 bootleg series vol1~3 發行，第二個 take 在 "rough cuts"這張靴腿似乎可以找到。這首歌詞曲皆極佳（非常，嗯，說故事的感覺？），而一直沒有公開發行的理由，在 bootleg series 的內頁冊子裡有提到，Dylan被問了兩次這個問題，第一次他回答「這首歌沒有寫／錄好」，第二次他回答「他覺得以歌曲的內容（Willie McTell在藍調史的地位？），不適合公開發行」。第一次公開演出是在 1997/8/10, Clarkston, MI，之後就滿常唱了。 ※ 引述《RUFJ (凱子NN )》之銘言： : 這首歌是dylan唱的媽? : 為什麼在網路上常常看到 Bob Dilan的稱呼? -- he examines the nightingale's code still written on the fish truck that loads my conscience explodes the harmonicas play the skeleton keys in the rain and these visions of Johanna are all that remain... -- Seems Like a Freeze-Out / Dylan -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.105.254.142 ※ 編輯: JeffyLiaw 來自: 59.105.254.142 (03/02 17:05)
