Queen Bey has done it again!
Beyonce was just named Honorary Chair for the 2013 Costume Institute Gala.
The singer joins co-chairs Rooney Mara, Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, and
socialite Lauren Santo Domingo for the annual May ball.
This year’s gala celebrates the upcoming “Punk: Chaos to Couture”
exhibition, which is slated to run at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from
May 9 to August 14.
And while Beyonce has graced the carpet of a couple Met Gala’s in year’s
past, notably last year’s when she was the last to show up to the scene, it’
s no wonder why the “Crazy in Love” singer has been named the
highly-coveted title of Honorary Chair.
