celebrate Stevie Wonder's birthday bash!

Our KEVIN FRAZIER was there Thursday night as songstress WHITNEY HOUSTON
honored the legendary STEVIE WONDER at the star-studded party celebrating his
57th birthday. Whitney performed at The Cove Atlantis, the hot new luxury
hotel celebrating its grand opening.
Meanwhile, also celebrating the hotel opening is none other than JANET
JACKSON, who will perform tonight at the hotel. The talented star spent some
quality time on Thursday with Kevin, where she dished on the young starlets
of today.
"There's a great deal of pressure," she says, speaking from experience. "I
think it has a lot to do with upbringing."
And with news of BRITNEY SPEARS' recent House of Blues tour, Janet has faith
the star can make a comeback. "I know she's had issues," she tells Kevin. "I
hope she overcomes them, and she can if that's what she really wants."
She credits her parents for keeping her grounded, even though she's been in
the business since she was a teenager. "My parents made sure we had a
foundation."
So is there any chance Janet could be scouting out the tropical paradise as a
possible honeymoon spot for her and longtime love, music producer JERMAINE
DUPRI?
"Why is everyone pressuring us?" she wonders aloud. "If it's meant to be,
it'll happen."
Meanwhile, Janet is keeping busy; she's currently working on a new album and
even hints at a possible tour. "There may be," she says. "We'll see."
