Mariah has [approx.] 5(not 7) octaves range.(A2-G7) She can go both high and
low with equal ease. She can sing the Alto/Mezzo/Soprano ranges but from her
coloratura abilities, she may be classified as a Coloratura Soprano who can
also sing very low.
Patti - Dramatic Soprano with 3 octaves. [approx.] (E3-E6)
Whitney - Spinto Soprano (back in 1985) / Dramatic Mezzo (now) with [approx.]
3 octaves. (C3-C6)
Aretha - Dramatic Mezzo (back in 60s-) / Alto (now) with [approx.]3 octaves.
(B2-B5)
Celine - Tie between Lyric Mezzo/Soprano with [approx.] 2.5 octaves.

Jessica -Of course, Lyric Soprano with [approx.] 3.5 octaves. (D3-G6)
Christina - Spinto Soprano with [approx.] 4 octaves (D3-C7)
