今年學測國文的引導寫作題目為「漂流木的獨白」，得使用第一人稱寫出一篇關於漂流木的遭遇與心情，不知怎地，新聞撥出這則新聞我馬上想到「Driftwood」這首歌，假如有考生是Travis迷，這首歌的意境應該是個現成而且不錯的題材吧顆顆爬了之前的文章，似乎沒有討論過這首歌的創作來由以下摘錄我查到的網路資料跟大家分享 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. 維基百科 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driftwood_(song) Healy has said: "Driftwood is a song for the person in your life who has so much potential and, yet, doesn't use it because they're afraid of falling on their backside, you know, they're afraid of making a fool of themselves. Healy also stated on VH1 Storytellers in 2000 that he had been watching a Cheers episode that involved somebody overhearing their boss stating that they were going to get rid of the "driftwood" in the company. Healy later went to do the washing up and had thought of the first line in the chorus then. 2. Fran from Travis got the term and title of the song "Driftwood" from an episode of US Comedy "Cheers".
