(先跟原po說聲sorry 我用你的文章來討論另一件事情了 :P) 之前我隨便在Travis網站上看了一點Fran在上面寫的Blog 很巧的翻到了跟Slideshow這首歌有點關係的一篇文章 http://travisonline.com/band/fran/?id=196&p=1 (以下是引述有關的那段) Was funny tonight. We sung the song Slideshow from The Man Who and I realised that there is a line in the song that goes "There is no design for life..." and I was thinking "shit, the Manics are on after us!" and that maybe they thought I was saying bad shit about that song...actually the opposite is true... because Slideshow is about the power of songs, and how they trigger memories like a slideshow, saying that it's not so much the song but rather where it takes you that is important...anyways I have always wondered if they thought I was being cheeky. I love 'Design For Life" 剛好那天演唱會晚上回家的時候我跟我媽在車上聽著The Man Who 我們一直在爭論那句歌詞是"design"還是"desire" 我媽一直說他聽到的事desire 可是我看過歌詞阿所以就一直跟他爭:P anyway, 後來翻到了這篇文章 Fran剛好提到了這首歌的含意我看起來他的意思是說一首歌重要的是它帶你進入什麼樣的回憶勝過於歌本身然後回憶就像Slideshow一樣一幕幕播放...
