They cared for my sick child, provided us with warm meals and medicine, and reminded us that we are not alone. I don’t know what the future holds for us, but I want to keep holding on to hope for my children.” UNICEF has established Child-Friendly Spaces in the earthquake-affected areas of Venezuela, providing children with a safe environment where they can recover from the trauma of disaster through protection, psychosocial support, and care.
