在UNICEF的支持下，蘇丹傑濟拉的Alwihda保健所裡等待麻疹和德國麻疹預防接種的孩子
們露出了燦爛的笑容。
UNICEF在麻疹和德國麻疹高風險的Um Elgora和南傑濟拉地區，對9個月~15歲的50萬名兒
童進行了預防接種活動。
UNICEF保健負責人阿巴斯表示:“麻疹不僅會影響兒童的聽力、視力，還會影響運動神經
和發育，因此預防接種非常重要。幸運的是，透過這次活動，紛爭地區和保健服務較差的
外圍地區兒童也能完成預防接種。”

Children who are waiting to be vaccinated against Measles and Rubella at
Alwihda health centre, Al Jazirah state in Sudan, are smiling.
Delivered with UNICEF support, the campaign targeted over 500,000 children
from 9 months to 15 years in the two high-risk localities of Um Elgora and
South Al Jazirah. "The campaign is important because measles can affect a
child’s hearing, vision, movement, and development. There are many children
receiving the vaccine for the first time because they were in conflict zones
and couldn’t reach safe areas, and in those areas, where vaccines were not
available", said Aseel Abbas, a health officer and supervisor of the campaign.
