A celebrated singer of classical crossover music, Brightman is one of the
world’s best-selling sopranos with such mega hits as Time to Say Goodbye, a
duet with Andrea Bocelli; and her turn as Christine Daaé in Sir Andrew Lloyd
Webber’s Phantom of the Opera. Her new album Hymn has been described by the
artist as a return to a lot of what she was doing in the Nineties, and
includes songs such as Follow Me from the original Mutiny on the Bounty, as
well as a lot of different use of choirs. Typically, Brightman’s shows are
fairly lavish affairs with lots of orchestration and flowing gowns.
