Definitely May? January 23 - posted by supernova OASIS will release their new album in May this year, according to Internet sources (hmm.. The-Masterplan.com? We exclusively reported about the May release and EW magazine article days ago, cool! :)) The group have been putting the finishing touches to the follow-up to 2000's 'Standing Of The Shoulder Of Giants' in recent weeks. The album, given a working title of 'Heathen Chemistry', was delayed last year while songwriter Noel Gallagher changed the parts he wasn't happy with, and brother Liam completed vocal duties. 'Heathen Chemistry'是目前暫定的新專輯名本來是去底就要發行不過 Noel 後來不滿意某些部分再加修改而 Liam 需要多點時間來完成配唱的工作 Now, American lifestyle magazine Entertainment Weekly have reportedly listed the record's release date as May 7 in the US, which corresponds to a May 6 release in the UK. A UK spokesperson is currently unable to comment on the release date. 這段提到 5/7 是個滿可靠的消息因為之前英國傳出 5/6 要發行所以應該是這個日期的前後了...雖然發言人一直不正面回應 Oasis are gearing up for live shows next month, where fans are likely to get the opportunity to hear new songs.
