After playing a Noel Gallagher-sung version of 'Whatever', the chief
songwriter feigned disappointment that much of the crowd didn't seem to
know the song's lyrics.
"It still amazes me how little you lot know the words to that song," he joked,
adding "I'm the only one in the whole building that does and I didn't even
buy it!"
Before playing the first song of Oasis' encore, 'Falling Down', Gallagher
geed up the crowd by getting them to chant "Get off my land!" in a Cornish
accent.
