: Since Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas has been re-issued with DVD, animated video-clip for Santa Claus, and thanks to her current success with The Emancipation of Mimi, this season her album charts higher : #75 with 24,000 copies sold. Whereas since 1998 a: nd till now, TAST charted higher than Merry Christmas every Christmas season, so that's why TAST sales overtook Merry Christmas ones even though it had been released four years later.
: So here is the season's battle : will Mariah's Merry Christmas re-gain the second position ? That might be the case especially as her single All I Want For Christmas is again played quite often on radio and there is promotion for this album.
This week, TAST is up to #96 (from #161) with sales of 19,200 copies (+35%) and a total of 4,631,600 copies.
Mariah's Merry Christmas is #61 (from #75) with 29,400 copies (+22%) and a total of 4,562,600 copies.
本週毫無意外還是勝利
不過跟上周加加減減後
Mariah全球總成績仍只跟Celine打成平手
我個人較膚淺的答案
應該是收收錄的歌曲較少吧
也有可能是Celine請出的卡司比較強吧(Diane Warren David Foster R. Kelly)
甚至自己唯一的創作都搬出來了.......
