這是我之前就翻好的，最近英文課老師要我們翻譯英文歌。所以我打算用Halfway Home來交當時我翻譯時有部分是加上自己的情感，我想說是要交作業的要改一下。但我想破頭都不知道要怎麼翻才好，所以我想聽聽大家的意見要如何翻才好。紅字部分是我不懂的地方，如果各位對其他部分有更好的意見也可以提出。還有一個疑問，這首歌有很多Halfway Home 應該不用翻出來吧 (乾笑......) I used to walk along the opposite side of the road 我總是順著街道的另一邊走著 And made others get out of my way 沒有任何一個人可以阻擋我的路途 I used to think that I could just sit and wait for the times 我也經常在想我可以只是坐著浪費時間 But they wont come until I meet them halfway 我勇往直前不像以前一樣癡癡的等著 I'm halfway home and I'm on my own 我獨自走向家的途中 I'm halfway there and I don't care, I don't mind 我並不在乎也不在意 I plan to leave here after supper time 我計畫時間過後離開這裡 That's when traffic is light, all I need is a sign 這時街上燈火通明，我所需要的只是個指示 And I'll be alright. I'll be fine 我會好好的我會很好的 I used to think that I could just sleep and then I'd dream 我常在想我可以只睡覺並做著我的美夢 And everything it would just come to me 這樣我就會得到我所想要的 Until I woke one day without anything to eat or alone lying on the opposite side of the street 直到有一天醒來時才發現飢餓的我獨自一人躺在街道邊 I'm halfway home and I'm still out on my own 我仍孓然一身 I'm halfway there and I don't care, I don't mind 我並不在意也不在乎 'cause it ain't my time to stay or say well I can't say 因為那不值得浪費時間去停留可是我也不敢斷言 But you can bet that I will play my heart down 但你可以打賭我將會放下我的情感 I'll won't lay. 我不想停下 Down now sleep 停下來去休息 Never down I never lay down 絕對不會停下 No way 絕對不會 I used to think that I could just sit and wait for the time but I know I gotta meet them halfway 我常在想我可以只是坐著等待但我起身前進 I'm halfway home I tried running with the flow 我試著隨著洪流 I'm halfway there. Ain't it funny how everybody seems to care 每個人都散發著異樣的眼光但那是多麼的可笑 I planned to get there around supper time their serving up bread and wine 我計畫在在同一時間到那找尋是否有可讓我活下去的動力 I think to full my time 我會將我的人生過的精彩的 Ya I guess I’ll be allright 是的!我猜我會好好的 I'll be fine. 我會好好的 I'll be fine 我會好好的.
