話說現在是個該死的高三生今天最後一次模擬考第一節考英文寫啊寫看到最後一篇閱讀測驗咦~~ Guns N` Roses? 本來寫到要睡著的又醒了過來內容還滿有趣的以下翻譯 --------------------------------- 　　過去的四分之一個世紀，我一直是搭機趕場表演。我也有在外國土地上冒險犯難的經驗。１９９２年，「槍與玫瑰」樂團在委內瑞拉表演，我們從雨果．查維茲發動的流產政變中死裡逃生。我不知道政變是何物。甚至不知道這兩個字的寫法。我只知道，它對我們是個不祥之兆。我算幸運，查維茲喜歡我們這個樂團，等我們包機離開，他才讓軍機掃射機場。　　那一趟南美洲旅行，我們還向另一個國家的移民局行賄３萬美元，以便能夠演出，雖然我從未犯下大罪，甚至連行為不檢也無，機場「隨機」挑人接受進一步安檢，我卻永遠中獎。站在我前面的是個怪咖，安檢人員卻是一揮手要他走人。但是他們不放過我，如果機場安檢是樂透，我準是富豪中的富豪。　　沒人能夠告訴我，為什麼這種事老是發生在我身上。可能是安檢人員沒人喜歡我的音樂，不過我還是保持一貫的禮貌，即使是在我被拉出隊伍時。這種是太常發生，我數都數不清楚了。我很少搭包機了。無論是和「絲絨左輪」樂團，或者是我的「子彈上膛」樂團出門表演，我現在都一概搭客機。我只想從甲地到達乙地，而且越少麻煩越好。我是個最不具威脅性的旅人。我是說，我玩填字遊戲打發時間，能鬧出什麼事來？我是個填字遊戲迷，我把這種慣例當作自我反省的機會。我也不介意與鄰座的人聊天。飛機上偶爾有人認出我，想和我聊音樂。我什麼都樂意聊，就是不想談音樂。我還是希望我的鄰座是個填字遊戲迷，這樣我們便能互相幫忙。知道「推翻」的另一種說法嗎？四個字母。就是「政變」啦（coup）。註:本文口述者是Duff McKagan -- Shed a tear 'cause I'm missin' you I'm still alright to smile. I`ve been flying to work the last quarter-century.And I`ve had my share of foreign-soil adventures,like escaping a coup attempt by Hugo Chavez in 1992, when Guns N` Roses was playing in Venezuela.I didn`t know what a coup was. I did`t even know how to spell it.All I knew was that it did`t bode well for us.Fotunately for me,Mr.Chavez liked our band and waited for our chartered plane to leave before he strafed the airport. That particular trip to South America also involved a bribe of $30,000 to another country`s immigration service so we could play ous show.Although I`ve never been convicted of a felony or even a misdemeanor,I`m always the guy that gets "randomly" selected for a more thorough security check. I could be standing behind someone who is a jerk,and he gets waved through.Not me. If airport security was the lottery,I would be richer than rich. No one can tell me why this happens.Maybe none of the security people like my music.But I`m still unfailingly polite,even when I`m yanked out of line, which happens so offen that I`ve lost count. I rarely fly a charter anymore. Now it`s all commercial when I play with Velvet Revolver or my band,Loaded. All I want to fo is to get from Point A to Point B with as little hassle as possible.I`m the most nonthreatening of travelers.I mean,how much of a scene can I cause when I spend time doing crossword puzzles?I`m a crossword puzzles fanatic.I look at this ritual as achance for me to meditate.I also don`t mind talking to seatmeates.Occasionally,someone on the plane will recognize me and will want to talk music.I like to talk about everything but music.I`m still hoping for a seatmate who is a crossword puzzle fan so we can help each other out.When to know a four-letter word for an upset?It`s a coup. ※ 編輯: lovelve 來自: 59.116.140.32 (12/23 20:30)
