Tennant writes: “We’ve been in the studio for the last few weeks continuing to write songs for our next album. So far this year we’ve written 16 new songs. I think we’ll start recording the album in November for release next year. Neil x” The album would be the Pet Shop Boys’ first since 2009′s Yes, which spawned four singles (“Love, Etc.,” “Did You See Me Coming?,” “Beautiful People” and “All Over the World”) and took the band around the globe on tour.
