Bridget Jones’s Baby (provisional title) is based on a screenplay by the source author Helen Fielding and One Day scribe David Nicholls; Sharon Maguire, who was at the helm of the first adaptation, Bridget Jones’s Diary, is back in the director’s chair. UK powerhouse producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are making this one for Working Title in conjunction with Universal Pictures in LA. Press reports earlier this year suggested that Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth will both be back on board. Subscribers to Production Intelligence who have been following this project will know that we now have details of crucial hires including the casting director, line producer, location manager, production designer, production co-ordinator and production manager on the site, along with confirmation of the studio and shoot dates.
