英國電影雜誌EMPIRE選出影史最傑出的100名演員凱特女王以短短六年的影齡(在好萊塢主流電影演出) 擠進第54名同為澳洲幫的還有妮可39名羅素克洛53名 Empire's All Time Greats Top 100 By Natacha Butler July 29, 2004 Australians Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe have been rated among top 100 movie stars of all time by Empire magazine. The local stars rank alongside some of Hollywood's biggest names including Jack Nicholson (No.3), Katherine Hepburn (No.9) and Cary Grant (No.13). Topping the glittering list is Taxi Driver and Godfather IIstar,Robert De Niro. The 60-year-old Oscar-winner has starred in some of the big screen's most memorable movies over the past thirty years, including Martin Scorcese's Raging Bull (1980) and Michael Cimino's The Deer Hunter. Despite a recent run of mediocre roles in movies such as Analyze That and Meet the Parents De Niro remains a box office drawcard and one of the silver screen's best-loved actors. Kidman tops the list of Australian actors coming in at a respectable No.39. It's less than six years since Blanchett made a splash as England's virgin queen in Elizabeth but the 35-year-old has established herself as one of the movie industry's most talented stars, finding herself at No.54 on the list.
