Winslet checks into Ullmann 'House' party

Kate Winslet (news) is set to play the lead in Liv Ullmann's upcoming film
adaptation of the Henrik Ibsen play "A Doll's House."
In an interview Saturday with Norwegian pubcaster NRK, Ullmann said Winslet
will replace her original choice,Cate Blanchett, who is pregnant
and does not want to commit to the role.
Ullmann expects to begin principal photography in January.
Norwegian producer Petter Borgli of Dinamo Story confirmed to Daily Variety
that financing is about to be concluded for the $10 million production. Cast
also will include John Cusack , Stellan Skarsgard and Tim Roth.
