Britney may be a theif for stealing our hearts, but she won't apologize for
that. Neither will she say "I'm sorry" for shooting her recent music video
for "Criminal" on the streets of London weeks after the riots.
Britney's team released a statement about the issue, saying: "The video is a
fantasy story featuring Britney's boyfriend, Jason Trawick, which literally
plays out the lyrics of a song written three years before the riots ever
happened."
Some London politicians lashed out at Britney last week for implying violence
in London, saying "it's images like this, with popstars glamorizing gangs,
which means that some young people... get drawn in."
