All Along The Watchtower [1990/08/21] Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall Portland, Oregon Never-Ending Tour Concert #218 代碼：442xa 如果你有 Paul Williams 的 Performing Artist Vol.3，請翻到第 276 頁， Paul Williams 用了二十六頁，全書百分之八的篇幅，來寫 Portland '90 這場演出的十九首歌。這是 Never Ending Tour 的第三年，迪倫說「新樂迷再帶朋友來」的那年； band member 小幅變動，G.E. Smith 留著，原貝斯手 Kenny Aaronson離開，新加入 Tony Garnier（現在是最資深的成員）；這年 N.E.T 表演的歌曲以 electric & acoustic set交替兩次，其中一定會搭一首沒什麼人聽過的老民謠、與幾首以往不曾搬上舞台的歌曲。雖然說「比較誰比較偉大」其實是件很無聊的事情，不過迪倫的第二個N.E.T band 在這場演出真的火力全開，尤其 G.E. Smith 根本是 Hendrix 上身，完全忘記巡迴近三年的疲累（他自己說過，巡迴中段的疲勞會讓表現較差）從開場的Subterranean Homesick Blues彈上一分鐘 riff、Masters of War 變成二十年 N.E.T 裡都少見的重搖滾、以及這個不比任何 cover版遜色的 All Along The Watchtower。以下是 setlist： -- Portland, OR, USA Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall 21-Aug-90 Never-Ending Tour Concert #218 1.
