DAMON ALBARN has jokingly asked his rock rival LIAM GALLAGHER to appear on the
next GORILLAZ album - depending on "how OASIS does in the next 12 months".
Albarn famously feuded with the Gallaghers when a chart war between his band
BLUR and Oasis kicked off in the 1990s. But he has pretended to put their
tensions behind them, inviting the WONDERWALL star to join him on his next
effort.
He says, "I'd love him to be on the next Gorillaz record, but let's wait and
see how his band does in the next 12 months. "I'm sure he'll be all right on
his own - he doesn't really need me."
