GORILLAZ are teaming with MSN Video to stream their final performance at the
famed Apollo Theatre in New York.
Audiences in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K. can view the live video
feed Thursday at 9 p.m. at msnvideo.com/gorillaz. After the show, highlights
will be available on demand, along with links to photos, interviews, features
and videos.
The performance marks the end of a sold-out, five-night stand -- the first-
ever Gorillaz performances in the U.S. Joining Gorillaz creator (and BLUR
frontman) DAMON ALBARN onstage for Thursday's performance will be DE LA SOUL,
IKE TURNER, BOOTIE BROWN of the PHARCYDE, NENEH CHERRY and ROOTS MANUVA.
Starting Wednesday, video footage of Gorillaz' November appearances at the
Manchester Opera House in England is also available online. Plans are currently
in the works for a 2007-2008 Gorillaz live holographic tour.
