Blur announce gig dates

Chart stars Blur have lined up their first UK shows for nearly three years,
it was announced today.
The band - normally guaranteed to fill arena dates - are playing four nights
at the intimate Astoria venue in London in May.
They will be the band's first British shows since the departure of guitarist
and founder member Graham Coxon last year.
The band will air tracks from seventh studio album Think Tank which is out
on May 5, produced by Fatboy Slim and Madonna collaborator William Orbit.
The Astoria shows take place on May 8, 9, 10 and 12 for which Coxon will be
replaced by former The Verve star Simon Tong. Tickets go on sale on Friday.
Blur - who have not played live since a Royal Festival Hall show in July
2000 - release their first single for two-and-a-half years on April 21, called
Out Of Time and it features an Andalucian string ensemble
