"It's gotta be quick, certain, painless and humane," Kevorkian told Fox 2's Brad Edwards when asked what is the best way to end a person's life. "The first patient I helped was out in about 8 seconds." Kevorkian spent 8 and a half years in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder in 1999. He was released in 2007 and placed on parole, with a condition of not discussing his past practices. Kevorkian even said that, if approached, he would help his longtime lawyer and confidante Mayer Morganroth if he were terminally ill. "I would. What can he do to me that's already happened?" he said. A biopic of Kevorkian is in works with Al Pacino in the lead role. "He looks exactly like me," the doctor says, although Kevorkian seemed to be unfamiliar with Pacino's most famous roles. Kevorkian, who is 81, said he is working on a larger project that is sure to draw attention. "Something bigger than rights, or euthanasia. I can't talk about it until it happens," he said. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.218.127
