英國雜誌Dazed今天在網站公布了2013 K-pop song top 10 函數的RPPP第六名!!賀!!! 感覺好奇妙...XDD Mnet新聞 Dazed Digital Picks Its Top 10 K-Pop Songs of 2013 2013 was a year filled with a countless number of good K-Pop songs, and Dazed Digital has somehow come up with its own list of Top 10 for the year. On December 10, Taylor Glasby, a writer, music journalist, and Dazed Digital contributor, wrote an article titled, “Top Ten K-Pop of 2013,” highlighting the best songs of 2013. On the list were Big Bang’s T.O.P’s Doom Dada, EXO’s Growl, G-Dragon’s Coup d’Etat, Infinite′s Destiny, Taeyang’s Ringa Linga, f(x)’s Rum Pum Pum Pum, Trouble Maker’s Now, 2NE1’s CL’s The Baddest Female, Crayon Pop’s Bar Bar Bar, and B.A.P’ s Hurricane. T.O.P’s Doom Dada was placed number one, with Glasby writing, “You might ask why we would award the #1 slot to a track that didn′t want to be K-Pop, but as a product of T.O.P and producer Choice37, both unquestionably ingrained within the genre, Doom Dada can be nowhere else but the top spot.” Also spotlighted in the article were Teen Top’s Miss Right, BTS’ No More Dream, Henry’s Trap, SHINee’s Why So Serious, and more. Being styled like a Scottish shortbread tin is a cruelty of sorts – but the underwhelming level of promotion they got for this comeback was embarrassing. The intricacy of "RPPP" as it morphs sinuously around its melodies is amazing, and it's a song so finely crafted and performed it rises far above the generic SM 'dance in a box' MV. Their full studio LP Pink Tape deserves a place in albums of the year, with its perfect marriage of pop to EDM loops and breaks. Like 2NE1 they completely occupy their own niche though, unjustly, don't share the same acclaim.
