It's official. Hilary Duff is joining Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc -
as a new roommate for one of our favorite characters and a love interest for
another!

Gossip Girl producers spotted an opening in the 21-year-old star's schedule
after NBC elected to pass on her comedy pilot, entitled Barely Legal.
