An Audience With Take That...Live! on ITV1 has won a top gong at the
Bafta Craft awards.
It took the production design category and became the first non-drama
set to win a Craft Bafta.
Newsreader Jon Snow hosted the bash that honours those who work behind
the camera.
Sir David Jason, Jim Broadbent, Life On Mars star Philip Glenister and
The Office's Martin Freeman all showed up at the Dorchester hotel in
central London.
Despite being nominated for five awards at the event, Life On Mars
walked away empty-handed.
Peter Morgan, acclaimed for the movie The Queen, won best writer at the
ceremony. Morgan's award was for the Channel 4 drama Longford, which
stars Broadbent as the campaigner fighting to get Myra Hindley released
from jail.
The BBC1 production of Jane Eyre won the best hair and make-up category
and the costume design award went to The Virgin Queen, also on BBC1.
ITV1's Prime Suspect: The Final Act won the original television music
category, while Terry Pratchett's Hogfather on Sky One took the visual
effects gong.
Producer and director Sydney Lotterby, whose credits have included
Porridge and Yes Minister, was the recipient of the special award,
presented by TV veteran Sir David.
