Jeff and Sky's Act Of Love (III)
Being a veteran in the song industry, what advice would you give to
newcomers in the industry or those who are thinking of entering the
industry?
Jeff: Don’t fantasise about a glamorous life because a lot of people see
this industry as a colourful one where one can easily earn a lot of
money and don’t need a lot of education or experience. But in reality,
it is actually a tough career and before you even think of joining the
industry, you must really understand yourself and whether you have the
passion for it. You must also ask yourself, "Am I willing to sacrifice
a lot for my career?" If you have that passion and willingness, then
only would you be ready. Because in this industry, you will face a lot
of tough decisions and challenges and you will need the courage to
face these challenges and hang on to your dream.
Sky: Compared to when we first started out, there is more competition now
among the new talents. If you are not ready for hard work, I wouldn't
recommend you to join the industry because an artiste today not only
has to sing, but also has to know how to dance, act and host shows. So,
one must be prepared for hard work and also long working hours.
Do you have any message to relay to your Malaysian fans?
Jeff: I would like to apologise to my fans here because I haven’t come here
for a long time. But thanks to the Internet, I am glad that I am still
able to keep in touch with them, even though I cannot meet them face-
to-face. It is through the Internet that we can connect and become
closer, and also for me to promote my new songs and let them know

Sky: There are no words to describe my fans here who have supported me for
years. It is really hard to describe the gratitude I have for fans
like these for their support. I really thank my Malaysian fans for
their support and encouragement throughout the years, because without
them, it would have been difficult for me to continue on during tough
times. I will continue to do my best to sing more songs for them so
that they can enjoy better songs from me. Although I haven't been here
for a year, they are still in my mind and I really thank them. My fans
