ModeratorA: ~Marg~ asks "Hi Darren, my question is about the way songs are arranged for live performances (ie Good Enough) Is it something that you start thinking about once recording is finished or do they evolve during rehearsals etc? xxx Marg (Adelaide Sth Oz)" Darren Hayes: great question.. yes as soon as a song is finished being recorded I begin changing the arrangement because I personally get bored!! Right now there is a song called 'light' on the album..and live it is changing a little and I love it.. 歌迷問了個很好的問題.. 他問Darren有些歌是不是為了現場表演而安排的阿(如"Good Enough") 是不是你開始認為歌錄完就收工了還是歌本身會在彩排的時候再度演化呢? Darren說當歌錄完了以後他會想把歌稍微改編一下因為對他來說他會覺得唱原來的版本會很無聊現在新專輯裡面有首歌叫"light" 而在現場演唱的時候他會稍做點改變而他也很喜歡這樣 ModeratorB: Cathy_1 asks "Darren, Thanks for doing this chat, I was just wondering…when you’re developing a new melody, do you sometimes find yourself humming thinking ‘I’m onto something good here!’ and then realise you’re just humming the tune of another song, ie. Darren Hayes: I don't know if that ever happens to me actually.. sometimes a melody comes into my head that is so infectious that I think it must be someone else's .. but it isnt.. 歌迷很好奇Darren作新的旋律時會不會有時候發現自己在邊哼邊想著 "這段很適合我!"然後突然發覺自己其實在哼的曲調是別的歌 (如"silent night"或是其它類似的歌) Darren表示他不確定有時候某個旋律對他來說太有感染力了所以他覺得這可能是別人的旋律但實際上不是... I think popular is cheeky but the rest of the album is actually much more serious.. even pop.. is quite a dark and sarcastic tone if you think about it or really listen to the lyrics.. it's about selling your soul for fame 歌迷問"popular"這首歌會不會讓Darren給人一種很無恥的形象 Darren說他不知道他自己厚不厚臉皮拉但是這張專輯其他的作品都是很嚴肅的喔至於"popular"這首歌也是一種很黑暗也嘲諷的曲調如果這為歌迷能仔細想的話這首探討有關為了名譽而出賣靈魂.. Love, hugs, kisses and best wishes...Jo xxx" Darren Hayes: I don't know that I'm someone who is full of wants.. that's why it's hard to answer questions about desire.. Manda" Darren Hayes: both.. it will begin intimate and hopefully extend thru next year 歌迷問這張專輯的巡迴演唱會大小跟"Too Close For Comfort"一樣的規模或者是更大一點的勒 Darren表示一開始會採取跟歌迷比較親近的方式舉辦演唱會而明年會搞大型一點的... ModeratorB: Floozy asks "Hi Darren, love the album, thanks for the opportunity to attend the LP's. Since moving to London have you had much chance to do any sightseeing, if so where do you like best? Love Suz x" Darren Hayes: I haven't moved to London.. I'm spending a lot of time here at the moment launching the record.. but officially I still straddle between here and the U.S.. In London I really enjoy the parks and there are some great restaurants.. as far as tourist things I've been coming here for years so now it's more the local 'hoods that interest me as opposed to big ben.. Darren Hayes: oh... hummingbird bakery in notting hill.. go there! 有個歌迷誤以為Darren搬到倫敦來了..他問Darren最喜歡倫敦的哪裡 Darren先澄清他沒有搬到倫敦來而他本人官方的說法是他在美國與倫敦兩處跑他現在正在倫敦灌錄唱片至於最喜歡去的地方因為Darren來倫敦好多年了所以他現在比較感興趣的反而是一些比較有地方特色的東西他喜歡倫敦的公園而且倫敦附近有幾家很棒的餐廳 Darren特別推薦諾丁丘的蜂鳥麵包坊 ModeratorA: linz asks "Hi Darren, as TTATS is so unique in it's sound, when you next tour, have you any plans yet on how you will combine this new sound with the sound from Savage Garden and Spin?" Darren Hayes: The new album is quite electronic and experimental so the show will obviously combine elements of that.. it's quite brave and almost like being in the studio with me (the concept for the tour..).. but I'm planning on playing the hits and giving you what you want to hear on stage so it won't all be blips and bleeps! 歌迷問這張專輯的音樂可能會很獨特那麼在舉行巡迴演唱的時候 Darren會不會考慮把以前野人花園或是Spin專輯時期的元素給混合進去呢 Darren回答這張專輯蠻電子蠻實驗的所以巡迴的時候當然會混合過往的元素而這次巡迴對他來說是蠻勇敢的嘗試就好像在錄音室裡面一樣但是他也保證唱以前歌的時候他會用歌迷想聽的方式呈現所以整場演唱會不會只是充滿光點和尖銳的聲音而已 (待續) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.143.131.123
