OASIS AND MANICS SIGN UP FOR NME WAR CHILD LP (節錄前兩段)
OASIS, STEREOPHONICS, MANIC STREET PREACHERS, BADLY DRAWN BOY and STARSAILOR
are among artists who are entering studios around the world to record
special cover versions for the forthcoming NME/WAR CHILD charity album,
'1 LOVE'.
The album, which is released in October on B-Unique via WEA, celebrates
NME's 50th birthday and the anniversary of the world's first ever singles
chart, which was launched in NME in 1952. Proceeds from sales of the album
will go to War Child, the organisation which, for the last 10 years, has
been actively providing aid to children whose lives have been devastated by
war.
