Noel 獻聲 Samll Faces 致敬演唱會專輯
NOEL ON NEW CD RELEASE
3 Mar - Noels performance at the Steve Marriott memorial gig last year will be
released on CD on April 22nd this year. The tribute gig for the former
'Small Faces' member features Noel singing on the track:
'Here Comes the Nice'.
將於 4 月 22 日發行的向 Samll Faces 團員 Steve Marriott 致敬的演唱會實況專輯，
會收錄 Noel 獻唱的 'Here Comes the Nice'。
Noel, Gem, Alan White along with Paul Weller turned up to play at a tribute gig
on 20 April 2001 in memory of the 60's legend Steve Marriott of the Small Faces
who died in 1991 in a fire at his home.
這場在去年 4 月 20 日舉行的紀念演唱會，參與的包括 Noel, Gem 和 Alan，以及
好友 Paul Weller 等，一同聚集來向於火災中喪生的 Steve Marriott 致敬。
The gig in the Astoria in London was by all accounts an absolute blinder of
a gig. They Oasis/Weller group were introduced as the "all star band"
They played a total of 6 Small Faces songs. 'Become Like You',
'I'm Only Dreaming', 'You're So Good For Me' , 'Get Yourself Together',
'Tin Soldier' and 'All Or Nothing'. Noel sang backing vocals and alternated
lead vocals with Paul Weller. Gem also sang backing vocals and also played a
bit of bass guitar.
演唱會內容包括由綠洲幫組成的 "all star band" 共同獻唱 Small Faces 的六首組曲，
Noel 和 Weller 交換主唱，而 Gem 也獻聲合音以及彈了一點 bass guitar。
All the money raised from the gig was to be donated to the Marriott family.
所有演唱會籌得的款項全數捐給 Marriott 的家屬。
