Oasis song Rock N’ Roll star has been voted the 8th most exciting song ever
by Q magazine. Q gave a glowing review of why they chose it saying:
“By kick starting their debut album with this cocky rousing anthem, Oasis
declared their world conquering intentions from the outset. Rock n’ roll star
showcases Noel Gallagher’s knack for sparking energy and originality from
the simplest and most traditional elements and ends with a psychedelic
cacophony of drums and swirling guitars over which Liam Gallagher repeats
the mantra It’s just Rock N’ Roll. Most Exciting moment: 1:24- the first time
the young upstart Gallagher Jr triumphantly snarls, Tonight I’m a Rock N’
Roll Star.”
God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols was voted most exciting song.
