Noel faces up to Geri Halli-hell

when she pointed out the title he wanted to give to the new OASIS
album was a GERI HALLIWELL hit.

他原先想要命名的新專輯名稱是前辣妹潔芮‧哈利維爾的一首暢銷單曲。
He said: “The missus goes, ‘Bag It Up? Isn’t that a song by Geri
Halliwell?’ I was like, ‘You’ve ruined my entire f****** year’.”
他道：“我女友說，‘Bag It Up’？這不是潔芮的一首歌嗎？我的反應
就像‘你已經毀掉我這一整年了’”
Dig Out Your Soul is released on October 6 but Noel has revealed he
was not entirely aware of all of the songs on it.
‘Dig Our Your Soul’將於十月六日發行，但是諾爾揭露他其實不是很
熟專輯內所有的歌曲。
He told Mojo magazine: “I was doing the Electric Proms with THE
CORAL, who had recorded at my studio. They’d had a sneaky listen
to our new stuff so singer JAMES SKELLY asks me, ‘Are you gonna do
Soldier On?’
他告訴魔酒雜誌：我和珊瑚樂團 ─他們在我的錄音室錄音─ 一起在
Electric Proms 表演的時候，他們已經私下聽過新歌了然後主唱詹姆斯‧
史蓋利問我“你們會作那首 Soldier On 嗎？”
“I don’t remember it. Turns out ANDY BELL recorded it with LIAM –
but Liam still doesn’t remember it!”
我不記得這首歌了，結果安迪和連恩一起把這首歌錄音─ 但連恩還是不記得！
And Noel and Liam are still arguing – this time over the band’s new
drummer CHRIS SHARROCK, who used to work with ROBBIE WILLIAMS.
而且兄弟倆仍然在爭執─ 這次是為了新鼓手克里斯‧殺爾洛克，他曾經和
羅比‧威廉斯合作。
Noel said: “It was too much of a temptation to p*** Robbie and Liam
off in one phone call.”
