Meg Mathews Interior designer, 41, London Interview by Michael Odell Sunday January 6, 2008 （只節錄有關綠洲部分） I first met Noel [Gallagher] in London in 1994. Definitely Maybe was out but it hadn't gone crazy yet. He was going out with my flatmate at the time, which made it all a bit difficult. 我第一次和諾爾的邂逅是在倫敦，一九九四。「絕對可能」已經面市但一切還沒那麼瘋狂。當時他和我的樓友約會，讓（情況）有一點困難。 I remember Liam and Noel's squabbling and moodiness. The perfume company even sent me a lifetime supply! But I named her after the writer Anais Nin. She had an amazing time in Paris in the Twenties - hanging out with Hemingway, smoking opium, orgies, drink... 大家都以為我以香水品牌“Ａｎａｉｓ　Ａｎａｉｓ”命名我女兒，香水公司甚至給了我終身使用的資格！但我其實是以作家ＡｎａｉｓＮｉｎ命名的，她在二零年代的巴黎有一段令人吃驚的日子：和海明威在一起，吸食鴉片，雜交，酗酒… I thought 'Wonderwall' was about me. It was for a while. Then when we got divorced he took it away. He said it wasn't about me. But it's his song so he decides. 我認為「奇垣」是有關於我的─「曾經是」有一段時間。然後我們離婚後他收回去了。他說這首歌跟我沒有關係。但這是他寫的歌所以他可以決定。 I never got over my divorce. That's what I discovered in rehab. I was trying so hard to be strong and say 'I'm fine' and it caught up with me.
