EVEN rock legends have heroes.
And NOEL GALLAGHER was chuffed to bits on Monday night when he got
a half-hour one-on-one backstage chat with LED ZEPPELIN guitar god
JIMMY PAGE.
I’d love to tell you what they spoke about, but I don’t know.
More alarmingly, neither does Noel.
The OASIS hitmaker was so hammered he has no recollection of the
monumental meeting of minds following Zep’s triumphant comeback
gig at London’s O2 arena — and he’s completely gutted.
A source told me: “Noel’s rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest
musical figures.
“He was really looking forward to exchanging notes with Jimmy —
but he’d overdone it on the Stella.
“He woke up the morning after the show and realised he couldn’t
remember anything about their chat.”
So even legendary caners make schoolboy Stella Artois-related drinking
errors.
