NG: In Mexico City preparing for the last night of Oasis' world tour.
Q: What does Q mean to you?
NG: Despite being grossly misquoted on more than one occasion, and
having to spend endless nights out with the squares you send to
interview us, I still think it's a pretty fuckin' good magazine.
Great awards ceremony, too.
Q: What's the best thing you've ever seen in Q?
NG: My memory isn't that good（最好是啦）, so I am thinking the last
interview with my right honorable friend Mr. Weller (the 10-pint one),
and the review of Don't Believe The Truth.
Q: What were you doing 20 years ago?
NG: In Levenshulme, Manchester, on the dole, smoking sputnik and
listening to Pink Floyd.
Q: What's your high point of the last 20 years?
NG: Honestly? Too many to mention, but playing Maine Road and meeting
all my heroes, and them being fuckin' cool as fuck, is right up there.
Q: And the low point?
NG: Creation Records disappearing up its own arse (or was that nose?)
is right down there.
Q: Your biggest fashion disaster?
NG: Unfortunately, not being the thoroughbred clothes horse my little
brother is, there are quite a few and none I'd like to draw anyone's
attention to - thank you very much!
Q: What was the first album you bought on CD?
NG: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles.
Q: And the first track you downloaded?
NG: Not owning a computer, I'm immune to any of that filth.
Q: Which track of the last 20 years do you wish you'd written?
NG: Looking Glass, The La's.
Q: If you could talk to yourself 20 years ago, what advice do you give?
NG: Get your skates on before change your mind.
Q: Your favourite drug of the last 20 years?
NG: XTC.
Q: What's the best thing you've bought?
NG: A house in Ibiza.
Q: What's the most amount of money you've spent? And what did you spend
it on?
NG: A house in the country.
Q: Where will you be in 20 minutes?
NG: Onstage, which is where we came in on, no? Hasta luego and happy
