Noel Gallagher Favourites IV Thieves Announce Their Debut
The Noel Gallagher-approved IV Thieves release their debut in the
Autumn and we have details here.
The Texan quartet will release a three track EP entitled The Day Is
A Downer EP and besides the title track, comes backed with two more
tracks named Catastrophe and Chase Me Off / Out.
The band were originally called Nic Armstrong And The Thieves and
released the album The Greatest White Liar, which also scored them
support slots for Razorlight and Oasis. Now the band have changed
their name and are starting fresh with the EP.
Speaking about the group, Gallagher says: They'll be one of the
biggest bands in Britain. They're pretty special, man".
IV Thieves release the EP on October 9th and will also be touring
to coincide.
