Noel supports his Monkeys
ARCTIC MONKEYS descended on London for their biggest show to date –
and elder statesman NOEL GALLAGHER was there in his new role as their
showbiz godfather.
The OASIS songwriter mingled with hundreds of fans to watch the
incredible performance at London’s Brixton Academy on Thursday
night.
Shunning the VIP bar, Noel and girlfriend SARA MacDONALD queued at
the heaving bar for their own drinks – without a minder in sight.
After the gig, the singer went backstage where he hugged ALEX TURNER
and chatted to the Sheffield band for two hours.
He told me: “You got to love the kids.”
