Bandmate Gem Archer called it 'being Gallaghered'." 「就像被某種迷幻吹風機的疾風不斷吹襲，讓人覺得頭暈目眩無法自持。團員 Gem 把這種現象稱為『被蓋勒格了』。」 --記者談到和蓋勒格兄弟談話相處的經驗 _________________________________________________________________________ "'I'm loving life at the moment' he says. 'I'm swamped in the beauty of being alive. I get up in the morning and take my kid to school. I meet the parents who live in the supposedly real world, and I stand proud in the schoolyard with my kid. I'm just as good as you! You might have your nine to five job. Mine's a bit flaky. A bit weird. But I'm as good as the next man.'" 「『現在我熱愛著生命這回事』Liam 說道。『我幾乎快被活著的美好給淹沒了。早上起床我帶小孩上學，我遇見所謂真實生活裡的父母親，即使如此我還是覺得可以很驕傲的和我的小孩一起站在校園，我就和你們一樣棒！你們也許有你們朝九晚五的工作，我也有我的啊，只不過我的有點瘋癲，有點古怪而已嘛。但是我深信我和身旁的任何一個人一樣屌。』」 --Liam 談到從生活靈感寫歌 (哈哈哈想像 Liam 牽著 Lennon 的小手自以為是超級驕傲的站在學校門口心裡跑出這些獨白，然後旁邊的家長不曉得這個人在那邊爽什麼:D) __________________________________________________________________________ "What's the hardest thing about being a dad?" 'Being a dad innit? It's beautiful. I'm not sure if it's hard. (Thinks) I don't know if I'm 'A Dad', though. We had sex and a child was born. Does that makes me 'A Dad'?" 「那當爸爸最困難的事是什麼？『當爸爸是吧？是很美好，但我不確定是不是很難耶(思考狀)。我也不知道我這樣算不算“一個爸爸”。我們做愛然後小孩就生出來了，這樣我就算是“一個爸爸”了嗎？』」 --Liam 耍白痴的反問記者這個哭笑不得的問題 _________________________________________________________________________ "'It's biblical innit?' expains Liam. 'Cain and Abel...It's me and our kid. Or me and you. Two people who are the opposites, who become one.'" 「『這是聖經典故不是嗎？』Liam 解釋道。『該隱和亞伯...這是關於我和我老哥，或者我和你。兩個人針鋒相對個性完全相反，卻又合而為一。』」 --Liam 談到 "Guess God Thinks I'm Abel" 這首歌 ________________________________________________________________________ "It's my band. By it being my band, it's everyone's band. I'm a shareable kind of guy. I'm not Hitler. If I've got a bag of sweets, everyone gets fed." 「這是我的團，這樣說意思也等於這是每個人的團。我是不吝於分享的那種人，我不是希特勒。如果我有一袋糖果，每個人都有糖吃。」 --Liam 談到自己身為 Oasis 的必要元素，在試圖博愛大方的同時，也透露出自己絕對的支配欲和地位 _______________________________________________________________________ "I don't know if it's fate, luck or pay-off, but being in Oasis doesn't surprise me, it really doesn't. I hope I don't fuck it up. I hope I add to it. You've gotta be positive. You can't be bitter, just be bittersweet, as Eric Burdon said." 「我不知道這是命運、運氣或是相欠債，但是加入 Oasis 成為團員我真的一點也不訝異。我希望我不會搞砸了，而是帶來更多的東西。你必須要正面去看待事物，你不能只是嘲諷挖苦或覺得自己很苦，就試著苦中作樂，既苦又甜吧，這是 The Animal 主唱 Eric Burdon 說的。」 --Gem 談到加入 Oasis 正面的態度 (我超喜歡這句話的 "You can't be bitter, just be bittersweet." :) _______________________________________________________________________ To be continued...
