Guns N' Roses。:p http://tw.youtube.com/watch?v=RwotE_KaiII&feature=related Axl Rose & Vince Neil的各自說法。 http://tw.youtube.com/watch?v=E1j5B0E-zAI 1991 Interview。 http://tw.youtube.com/watch?v=qQSISmYKE2Y 上節目暢談。 1961年2月8日出生的Vince Neil，是Motley Crue的當家主唱。這篇文章不是要講他在 Motley Crue的豐功偉業，而是要講Vince Neil Band時期的小介紹。雖然Motley Crue 的音樂有相當不錯的成績，但如同一般的80樂團一樣，他們也一直有著團員不合的問題存在著；特別是Motley Crue團員們的花邊新聞和副業，對於他們的音樂是有影響的。 Vince Neil是曾經入獄的，有段時間他相當著迷於賽車，這也種下了他離開Motley Crue 的原因之一；另外就是長期以來Vince Neil和Tommy Lee之間的問題，所以在1992年之後Vince Neil選擇離開了Motley Crue。在Vince Neil離開之後，Motley Crue找來了John Corabi入替，並在1994年發行了同名專輯；而Vince Neil是在前一年，也就是1993年的時候發行了第一張個人專輯Exposed。維基上面是這樣說的：Exposed是後Motley Crue時期最棒的一張專輯。他離開Motley Crue的時間發行了兩張專輯：Exposed和Carved In Stone，一般來說第一張專輯評價最高，第二張專輯的話，Skylar's Song大概是最催淚的歌吧，是寫給他已經不在人世的女兒。在單飛的期間，還是有一定的水準。1992年到1997年的Motley Crue是沒有Vince Neil的，這段期間也算是Motley Crue比較黯淡的時期，儘管John Corabi也是不錯的主唱，他們那時候的成績並未像以前一樣好。1997年回到Motley Crue就一直到現在了。目前的Vince Neil他是兩邊跑，一邊是Motley Crue，一邊是他的Solo Band，他找樂手的功力還不錯。第一張專輯的樂手有Steve Stevens (Lead Guitar)、Dave Marshall (Rhythm Guitar/專輯錄完後加入)、Robbie Crane (Bass/巡迴的Bass手)和Vik Foxx (Drums)，第一張專輯也呈現出非常80的感覺，完全不輸Motley Crue時期的音樂。第二張專輯的樂手是：Brent Woods (Guitars)、Robbie Crane (Bass)和Vik Foxx (Drums)，主要是換了吉他手，但1995年的專輯一般評價都不佳。第三張專輯是現場專輯，大部分都是Motley Crue時期的歌，樂手有Brent Woods (Guitars)、Jamie Hunting (Bass)和 Brent Fitz (Drums)。 Vince Neil是一個爭議性相當高的樂手和主唱，常常讓我會想到同是水瓶座的Axl Rose。當然誰比較優這是見仁見智的問題，可以肯定的是，兩個人在不同的樂團，在音樂上帶給很多人感動，現在他們都屬於中年發福的模樣，不再是年輕的帥氣模樣，但是在經歷高低起伏之後，他們的嗓音也漸漸恢復了。我不知道他們的音樂路會變成什麼模樣，至少Vince Neil的嗓音也陪我度過無數個日子，Neil Is Neil！我覺得他也是真性情的人，跟Guns N' Roses幹架和對罵。寫給他過世女兒的歌，接受訪問時的真情流露。他依然跟以前一樣，只做自己啊。 -- I've got to keep breathing.
