MADONNA was criticised for forgetting to remove
(or more likely forgetting to remind her stylists to remove)
the price tags from the underside of her shoes this week.
The said shoes (above) cost ￡700.
Or, as I reacted when I read that figure,
SEVEN HUNDRED QUID!
In the unlikely event that I ever own a pair of shoes
costing that much, I’m damned sure I’d put the price tag
sticker on the front of them and make sure everyone saw it!
