Madonna remembers McQueen

Madonna, Kanye West and Katy Perry have lead the musical tributes to
Alexander McQueen, who died yesterday.
The internationally celebrated UK fashion designer was found dead at his home
in London, in what is believed to have been suicide.
In a statement, Madonna called him "a truly unique visionary in the world of
fashion" and described his death as "a tragedy".
West, writing on his blog in his traditional, capitals-only style, said:
"MCQUEEN...SO DEVASTATING..HE WAS A GENIUS...HE WAS SO IMPORTANT AND
SPECIAL....WE LOST AN ANGEL!"
Meanwhile, Perry left the following message online: "Rest In Peace Alexander
McQueen. Just woke up, so sad."
Estelle and Paloma Faith are amongst the other acts who have paid tribute to
McQueen, who had previously worked with the likes of Bjork and Lady Gaga.
