Matt的身世之謎-- http://www.musemania.com/ Matthew James Bellamy, was born on June, 9, 1978, and comes from Cambrige. What can be noticed through the story of his life is that Matthew has taken the best advantage from the musical environment he grew up in.. Beyond the refuge he could find in music, he raiseed his passion up to an art of living. It is rather late, at the age of 10 that he learnt how to play the piano. But for want of conventional lessons, Matt learnt a lot by ear. About Matthew's family, what is to remember is that even though some tabloids seems to opt for a short life and a sordid end for the Bellamys and that Matthew was brought up by his grandmother, another version exists and seems more likely. In sofaras Matt's father still plays in a band called "Rough Terrain", he cold hardly be deceased. This version mentions that his mother, Marilyn, from Belfast met George Bellamy in Londres. And if Muse's music has some mystical accents and melodies reminding of prayers, it would be echoeing Mrs Bellamy's own passion. Indeed, Matt's mother had a fascination for the occult and ceremonies to communicate with the beyond. Even if today, Matt admits taking these rituals with more philosophy et de rationalism, he doesn't deny enjoying them and taking part in rituals organized by his mother, a l'aide around a Ouija board. (A OUIJA board is a device to communicate with spirits. It is composed of a wooden board on which are inscribed the letters of the alphabet, the figures from 0 to 9 as well as YES and NO.. A wooden or glass guide would allow the spirits of the deceased to express themselves by directing this guide towards the various characters inscibred on the board in order to compose sentences and answer questions.)
